Shoah

The holocaust was something that we as humans and society should be ashamed for, for the rest of our lives. Currently, I think the matter’s depth of study in schools is not enough to reflect and meditate what happened in Treblinka, Auschwitz, Mauthausen, Sachsenhausen... That’s probably why Claude Lanzmann made the most important documentary ever, because maybe he thought that in the future we will need a film like this. Everybody should watch Shoah, it’s true that it takes 10 hours, it’s true that it has parts where is too slow, but it is also true that Shoah gives the best representation without using real images (that has a lot of merit) of what happened. Only listening to the testimonies, their extremely detailed explications, you have a very powerful, sincere, and impactful idea about the holocaust. Great documentary and completely necessary for these days and those to come.
