Rebecca

Alfred Hitchcock proves again why he’s one of the greatest directors. This film is visually gorgeous and combined with the dialog and interpretations makes Rebecca one of the best book-to-film adaptations ever. Also, the increasing suspense and mystery between Rebecca’s character and the mansion are really great. The film made me feel intrigued and nervous all the time. Despite I consider Rebecca a masterpiece, the way that the movie resolves the film is too abrupt and fast, I would prefer an ending with more detail. Overall the film is a complete classic and a masterclass of how to use little details. Punctuation: 5/5
