Logan

I feel like there’s not enough talking about Logan and I’m pretty sure why. James Mangold, in my opinion, made a top 3 superheroes movie ever. This film is intense, brutal, hard touching, and incredible. Let’s start with the performances: all great, Hugh Jackman as wolverine is perfect, if I had to tell you another possible actor for wolverine it would be very hard. Also, Patrick Stewart and Dafne Keen are incredible too, like the rest of the cast. The plot and the context of the movie are fascinating. The direction of Mangold behind the camera is great, the action scenes are very intense. In my opinion, the weakest point is the villain, it is not bad, but compared with the rest of the characters it is weak. Actually, Logan is a western movie camouflaged with superheroes and mutants, but at its core, it is a western. In the film, there are many references to western classics, but undoubtedly the clearest are the references to the movie Shame. I loved this movie, I was tense and excited all the time, and when a movie achieves that for me it is already a masterpiece. Logan achieves everything I want and more in a western and in a movie.
