Chicken Run

I really like stop-motion animation and I love Gorge Orwell, this film is the union of an adaptation of one of this best books and maybe my favorite kind of animation. My expectation was high before watching it as his director made all the Shaun the Sheep and Wallace & Gromit movies. Unfortunately, the movie is very weak in my opinion. George Orwell's satire towards communism is only present in the first 10 minutes of the film, leaving many things behind. I feel that this film is a missed opportunity to criticize a very dangerous ideology that is unfortunately present today. It is also a missed opportunity because being a cartoon movie, the message can be clearer for children and adults. Every minute that passes the movie is more boring and predictable. Also, there are unbearable characters like the two rats that even a child would find stupid. For adults is just a normal movie, maybe for children is something more. Punctuation: 2/5
