JFK
| I'm not a huge fan of Oliver Stone, he's a good director don't get me wrong and I respect him because he makes movies and documentaries about things that we don't want to listen, like Vietnam War, Snowden, Nixon and more that could irritate more than one government (especially the American). Also, he doesn't make cheap or stupid movies and for that reason, I will always find him a respectable director. Despite my respect, I always have found him and his movies (especially Platoon) overrated. So when I saw JFK in Amazon Prime, which is a 3h and 20 minutes movie, my expectations were low, but surprisingly (or not), I really like this movie and it's my favorite from him right now. This film is fantastic, the interpretations of Kevin Cosner and from all the cast are tremendous. The dialog, the tons of information and the details of the story make this film like a book, with very dense and great phrases. It is one of the best editing I've ever seen. Additionally, I found the conspiracy of JFK murder very realistic and possible while I was watching it. Maybe there are 10 minutes in the middle of the film that weren't necessary. Visually is nice and the music combined with the black and white flashbacks makes the movie more realistic, like a documentary. Punctuation: 4/5 |
