All About Eve

Joseph L. Mankiewicz is very talented, especially in dialogues, and this movie has one of the best in history. It feels more like a play than a movie and maybe it's my only problem with it. Due to the appearance of the theater, there aren't great sequences or scenes outside, everything feels false, the sets aren't very pretty and it makes the movie look poor. However, the cast is impressive, the plot and the character of Eva are very strong, the performances are incredible and the combination with the dialogue makes this movie almost a masterpiece.
